Terms & Rental Agreement

These Terms & Rental Agreement explain the policies that govern your rental of a Go Mini’s portable storage container from Mobile Crates, LLC DBA Go Mini’s (“Company,” “we,” “us”). When you reserve a container, you’ll sign a location-specific Rental Agreement listing your container ID, delivery and pickup addresses, rental dates, and pricing — that signed agreement incorporates the general terms below. If anything here conflicts with your signed Rental Agreement, your signed agreement controls. Questions? Contact your local team.

Your rental begins on the date specified in your signed Rental Agreement and continues month-to-month until terminated. The minimum rental period is one month. Rent is due in advance and is non-refundable, even if you stop using the container or have it picked up before the end of a rental period. We may increase the monthly rental rate with at least 30 days’ written notice; all other terms remain in effect.
Rent is due in advance each month. A $15 late charge applies if payment is received more than 10 days after the due date. If your account is more than 30 days delinquent, a $25 lien processing fee applies in addition to any collection or lien sale costs, and we may charge the card on file for amounts due regardless of your usual payment method. Returned payments are subject to a $30 fee. Unpaid balances accrue a 1.5% monthly finance charge, plus reasonable collection costs and attorney fees where permitted by law. Current monthly rental rates and trip charges by location are listed on our Pricing page.
The container may only be used to store or transport personal property that you own or are authorized to handle. You may not store property belonging to someone else without their authorization, perishable goods, flammable materials, explosives, fuel, or other hazardous or illegal materials. The container is not intended for irreplaceable items (art, heirlooms, records, or property with no resale value) and may never be used for human or animal habitation.
You’re responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and local ordinances — including HOA and homeowner restrictions — governing the use, placement, and location of the container, and for any fines or penalties resulting from your use of the container.
You’re responsible for packing, loading, securing, and unloading your property, including properly tying down items for transport. Total contents may not exceed 10,000 pounds. We’re not responsible for damage to your property, whether it occurs during storage, loading, or transport — including transport resulting from non-payment.
All property you store is at your own risk. Insuring your belongings is entirely your responsibility — we don’t provide insurance, inspect your contents, or have any interest in their value. If the total value of property stored exceeds $5,000, we may require proof of insurance.
Neither Go Mini’s nor its agents are liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of the container or storage location, except in cases of fraud, willful injury, or willful violation of law.
You agree to hold Go Mini’s harmless from any loss arising from your use of the container or our storage location. Our total liability for any cause is capped at $5,000.
If your container is at one of our storage facilities, access is generally available 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with at least two hours’ notice; other arrangements can be made by contacting your local team. You’ll need to provide identification (typically your driver’s license number) to access your container or to authorize someone else to access it on your behalf.
We’ll typically place your container on a paved surface or driveway with adequate space to maneuver. We may need to cross lawn or unpaved areas to reach the designated spot, and you release us from responsibility for related property damage. We may decline to place a container in an unsafe location, or apply a surcharge for difficult placement.
You’re responsible for providing your own lock. We don’t keep copies of your keys or lock combinations.
You may not alter, modify, or attach anything to the container, or move it from its placed location, without our prior written consent.
We make no warranties, express or implied, about the container’s condition, safety, or security, or about our storage location. You’re responsible for inspecting the container before use.
If you default on this Agreement, we may terminate it and require immediate return of the container. If you don’t return it, we may enter your property to recover the container and its contents. Unpaid balances may be turned over for collection, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs where permitted.
If your account is delinquent, we retain a lien on property stored in the container to secure unpaid rent and charges, in accordance with applicable state law. If a delinquency isn’t resolved, stored property may ultimately be sold to satisfy the balance owed, following the notice and sale procedures required by law.
You may end your rental with 48 hours’ notice after the minimum one-month term. No refund is given for rent already paid, even if you end the rental early. We may end this Agreement with written notice as described in your signed Rental Agreement, or immediately if you default on your obligations.
When your rental ends, remove all of your property from the container and return it in the same condition it was delivered in, normal wear and tear excepted. A $30 cleaning fee applies if the container isn’t swept out and free of debris.
We’ll send required notices to the address and contact information you provide. Please let us know within 10 days if your address or phone number changes.
You may not sublet or assign your rental without our written consent. We may assign or transfer this Agreement at any time.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state where your container is located. Your use of the container remains subject to applicable county, city, and state ordinances and any homeowner or deed restrictions, and you’re responsible for compliance.
Go Mini’s locations, including those referenced on this site, are independently owned and operated. Your Rental Agreement is with Mobile Crates, LLC DBA Go Mini’s or another independently owned and operated Go Mini’s location, as specified in your signed agreement — not with any national or parent Go Mini’s organization, which is not liable for performance under your local rental agreement.
Your signed, location-specific Rental Agreement, together with these general terms, is the entire agreement between you and Go Mini’s for your rental, and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements. Changes must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.

This page summarizes our standard rental terms for informational purposes and does not replace the signed Rental Agreement you complete at the time of your reservation. Questions about these terms? Contact your local Go Mini’s team.
