How to Prep Your Driveway (and Home) for Delivery Day

Delivery day is easy on our end — we’ll roll the container off the truck on padded wheels so your driveway stays scratch-free. A little prep on your end makes the process even smoother.

Clear the space

Move cars, bikes, trash cans, and any loose items out of the area where you’d like the container placed. A clear, flat space (usually a driveway) works best.

Check for overhead obstructions

Low-hanging tree branches or wires can make it tricky to maneuver the delivery truck into position. If anything overhangs your driveway, it’s worth trimming back before delivery day.

Decide on placement ahead of time

Most customers like the container facing their garage door or front entrance for the easiest loading access. Have a spot in mind before we arrive so delivery goes quickly.

Let your neighbors know

If you’re on a shared driveway or a tight street, a heads-up to neighbors avoids any surprises when the delivery truck shows up.

Have your loading plan ready

You don’t have to load the container the moment it’s delivered — your 30-day rental gives you room to work at your own pace. But if you know roughly what’s going in first, delivery day turns into loading day without missing a beat.
